Modernization of LAX Airport

LAX Airport is undergoing one of the most ambitious modernization projects in the U.S., valued at over $15 billion. Major developments include the Automated People Mover (APM), an internal automated transport system, and the Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility (ConRAC), which will directly connect to the Los Angeles Metro. The People Mover is expected to begin operations in 2026, transforming ground connections at the airport.
